What better way to get together with friends and get your holiday baking done at the same time, than a cookie exchange. Here are some suggestions for a fun and successful swap:

• Invite a diverse group of people. That way you'll have an assorted selection of cookies. It's also a great way to reconnect with old friends and coworkers.
   
• Have a cookie exchange at work. Get together at lunch for the exchange and some holiday fun, without having to coordinate too many hectic schedules.
   
• If you are having a large gathering, have everyone bake just one type of cookie to bring. That will take the pressure off to do a lot of baking - just make sure everyone brings enough to go around.
   
• Make sure you have on hand plenty of plastic wrap, tin foil and wax paper to wrap up and divide the cookies. You may also want to purchase decorative treat bags for folks who forget to bring extra containers to take their cookies home.
   
• Serve beverages that complement the sweet treats! Tea, coffee and hot cider are all great choices.
   
• Keep it light and casual and enjoy the company!
