If you are called to bid on any of our available work, you will be required to provide the appropriate documentation for your Public Liability Insurance and your Workers Compensation Insurance at the time of contract signing. No work will be assigned until your are in compliance with our insurance requirements. If at any time one of your policies were to expire, payment for work completed will be withheld, and no new work will be assigned until proof of a new policy is presented.
Public Liability Insurance
Throughout the duration of your contract you will maintain comprehensive general public liability insurance (including coverage for all trucks, automobiles or other vehicles you own) against claims for personal injuries, death or damage to property in any way arising out of or related to performance of your contracted obligations in an amount not less than $1,000,000 (one million) per occurence. Prior to commencing work a certificate of insurance shall be provided from an acceptable insurance carrier. The insuring agency must provide us with thirty (30) days written notice prior to cancellation.
Workers Compensation Insurance
You must furnish current certificates issued by the State of Ohio, Bureau of Workers Compensation evidencing that your are a subscriber and are in good standing to the Worker's Compensation Fund of the State of Ohio. During your term as a Dominion Homes contractor you shall comply with all requirements of the Ohio Worker's Compensation Act, as amended from time to time.
