Fred & Jenny Sanders were happy with their Dominion home. But with three active, growing kids – they had outgrown their space and were ready to move up. This time around they were looking for a big kitchen where they could all gather, a total of four bedrooms and three baths, a functional den and extra space for the kids to play.
"We really have plenty of elbow room. All three kids can have friends over and nobody seems to get in each other’s way (unless they’re all in the kitchen)."
They decided to build new again not only because of the terrific builder incentives that were available to them, but they really wanted to be able to select what went into their home – especially in the kitchen. They came back to Dominion because of the array of options, incentives and great locations. They’d had such a positive experience with the sales team they worked with the first time, that they decided to go back to them again to find a place that fit their current needs.
The Sanders family chose a spacious two story home from Dominion’s Tradition Collection that suited them perfectly inside and out. All three kids have rooms of their own, plus they have a huge loft where they can hang out and play with their friends. There’s a home office with double french doors which can be closed off for privacy when telecommuting or working in the evenings. The garage has plenty of room for their cars, bikes, mowers and tools. And they enjoy outdoor living in their nice-sized yard.
As they expected, the Sanders’ spend most of their time in the kitchen which they love for both it’s functionality and its appearance. “…that just seems to be where everything is going on with meal, prep, clean up, homework at the island, etc.”
When asked if they could pick one thing they love above all others about their home, Fred & Jenny replied, “The spaciousness. We really have plenty of elbow room. All three kids can have friends over and nobody seems to get in each other’s way (unless they’re all in the kitchen).”
